Trassir: video surveillance made friendly

When I first came to Digital Security Systems Lab, I had to establish all the design process from scratch. Interfaces were created by experts and evangelists, and there was a lot of legacy, that made product complicated to evolve. Quantitive research, user interface guidelines, UI components and kits for different platforms — those are the things I brought to the company.


Together with product manager and analysts, we performed series of observation sessions and user interviews along with interviews with stakeholders, CCTV experts and engineers. We came out with prototypes and tested it on the users, which were interviewed previously.

Trassir Mobile
Trassir Mobile is an application for video surveillance, mostly for private property, with thousands of active users in AppStore and GooglePlay.

After studying requests and data from the metrics, together with product manager we described main scenarios and made them smoother.
